GeneWorks' Sequencing Services 

Next Generation Sequencing

Through an international partner, GeneWorks offers sequencing on both the Illumina HiSeq platform and the PacBIO RS single moleucle sequencing platform.

With higher sequence output, the HiSeq is best suited to larger genomes, whole exomes, and highly multiplex samples.

With extremely long reads, PacBio reads are invaluable in helping assemble de novo sequencing data, transcriptional and metagenomic studies.

Sanger (capillary) Sequencing

To complement our Next Generation Sequencing services, GeneWorks has teamed up with 1st BASE in Singapore to provide high quality, affordable Sanger sequencing. Using Applied Biosystems 3730xl capillary sequencers, 1st BASE provides high quality, long read (850b) sequencing of plasmids and PCR products.
