The TransIT®-Jurkat Transfection Reagent is a novel formulation optimized to provide superior transfection efficiency in Jurkat cells and other lymphoid-like cell lines. Jurkat cells (human T-lymphocyte, acute T-cell leukemia) have been inherently difficult to transfect. This reagent results in 10–25% transfection efficiency in Jurkat cells using eGFP as a reporter and FACS analysis. Highest transfection efficiencies are achieved when transfections are performed in serum-containing media, with no media change. MIR 2120 provides sufficient reagent to perform
up to 500 transfections in 35 mm wells or -well plates.
